Ledger, 1765-1779.

Records debits and credits accrued by Edgar from 1765 to 1779. He sold such things as gallons of rum, pounds of sugar, quires of paper, bushels of buckwheat, pounds of chocolate, tobacco, and gallons of "mill," which seems to have been some kind of cider. In exchange, Edwards received cash and goods, including shingles, leather britches, cords of cork, cords of nut wood, and other items. Mention is made of schooling children, paying people for their labor, masonry work, interest charges, and freight charges.
